Please note that our resort is in a very remote location, only reachable by boat or off road truck. NO REGULAR BIKES, CARS & CONNECTION to the main side of the island. The secluded location makes all the charm of our place.

First you have to get to Had Rin Beach Koh Phangan then 

By TAXI BOAT:

• Take a local longtail boat from Haad Rin Beach.
• The ride takes about 10–15 minutes, depending on the weather.
• Boats usually run during the day
  — if you’re arriving late, let us know and we’ll help you arrange one.

By TAXI CAR (4×4 only):

• A few drivers know the jungle track that leads down to Why Nam.

When you reach the bay, it’s just you, the sea & the jungle. 

No traffic, no shops, no stress — only the sound of the waves and the quiet rhythm of island life.

How to help Why Nam stay sustainable and enjoyable for everyone:

• Say no to single-use plastics
• Choose eco-friendly soaps and shampoos
• Skip plastic glitter—you can buy biodegradable glitter in the restaurant
• Please keep noise down after 9:00 PM to respect our neighbors
• Bring a reusable water bottle and refill at our filtered stations
• Leave no trace: take your belongings and any beach litter with you

In our Resort we host adults only. Due to our secluded location we prefer to only host children of 15 years or older.  – this paradise playground is exclusively for you!
The Beach & restaurant remain open to the public.

Cash is king around here — there are no ATMs on this side of the island, so please bring enough cash for your stay.

Our accepted methods of payment: cash, credit card, or bank transfer.

There are no supermarkets or big shops nearby — just pure beach vibes. Make sure to bring any essentials or snacks you might need before arriving. We have a small shop for souvenirs and clothes In the upstairs area of why nam. At the spice resort in the next bay you can find a small convenience store.

The kitchen opens at 8 AM & closes around 9.30 PM. Sometimes later during the high season. We are a vegan Resort.

We host small daytime events with music or DJs once or twice a week unannounced. They usually start at 2pm & finish around 10 PM–midnight.

Nearby bays can be louder on weekends. Please be aware that our Neighbor’s Venue Guys Bar will play loud music almost every Friday all night till Saturday & can be heard from the Village Area Rooms. We have Earplugs available at the reception for you.

We’re off-grid. Short breaks sometimes happen but don’t last long. Wi-Fi is usually stable enough for digital nomads.

Geckos, spiders, snakes, and mosquitoes are normal jungle visitors and mostly harmless.
If you need help, let our team know.

Please don’t feed them. Please ask before touching our dogs, most are nice but some can be unfriendly.
Keep food sealed — monkeys steal quickly.

They can be very dangerous, common from May–October.
Avoid swimming at sunrise, sunset or after dark and outside our net in this season.

Weekly cleaning (usually after 3 days) is included.
Extra cleaning is available anytime for an extra fee of 800 THB.
We can help with your laundry, it’s 75 THB/kg.

Our first aid kit is located at the Restaurant, ask our Staff if you need to use it.
A night guard is always on duty after the restaurant closes.
Please let us know if you or others feel unwell or have any other issues.

• Check-in time: 2:00 PM
• Check-out time: 11:30 AM

Late check-out might be possible upon request, subject to availability.

The request needs to be done the night before your scheduled check-out date.

For check-out extensions until 3:00 PM, additional fees apply:

• 400 THB for fan bungalows
• 500 THB for A/C bungalows
• 1,000 THB for the Beach Villa

If you wish to check-out after 3:00 PM, an extra night’s charge will apply.

Please try to check in before 6PM when reception closes.

We could host your wedding, Anniversary or Special Occasion.
